The Institute is offering online training modules on Benefits Planning and Work Incentives to support the benefits planning activities of the AmeriCorps Members who are part of the Financial and Benefits Counseling project supported by the Institute.  These modules are intended to provide a basic understanding of the Social Security Disability Benefits Programs and Work Incentives available to individuals who are recipients of these benefits.  Additionally, AmeriCorps Members are provided specific guidance regarding their role as a conduit of information and a facilitator to access additional resources and benefits planning professionals.

Because of the useful Disability Benefits Planning information the training modules can be viewed by any visitor to the Institute for Empowerment website, however, please keep in mind that there will be specific guidance provided by the trainer to the AmeriCorps Members which would not be applicable to any other viewer.
